Barbara Jane Hamm

Barbara Jane Hamm, 66 years old, died on Sunday, November 1, 2020, in Austin, Texas. Ms. Hamm was born in Arlington, Virginia on October 19, 1954. Her deceased parents were Elizabeth Ann Hamm and Harold William Hamm of Concord, New Hampshire.
Ms. Hamm attended Annandale High School in Annandale, Virginia and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and worked in the insurance industry. She was a devout Catholic and hardly ever missed a day without saying the rosary and the Liturgy of the Hours. She had a tender heart and a beautiful voice that she shared with a number of Parish choirs during her life.
Ms. Hamm moved to Austin, in 1999, to be close to her older brother, Bill Hamm and his family. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother David Hamm, her sister Elizabeth Hamm and nephew Garrett Hamm. She is survived by her brother, Bill, sister-in-law Stephanie, and their children, Dr. Tiffany Hamm, Lovdy Grossman, Mariel (Mia) Hamm, Caroline Cruickshank and Martin Hamm, her brother-in-law Jack Lord, his wife Barbara Deal, niece Desiree and nephew Michael Lord and family, sister-in-law Cheryl Hamm, nieces Nicole Harriman and Breanna Hamm and nephew David Hamm; niece Nicole Hamm, nephews Christopher Hamm and Sasha Geier as well as 14 grand-nieces and 13 grand-nephews.
The entire family will miss her at our family gatherings and celebrations including karaoke sessions where she knew every artist and their songs from the 60s and 70s.
