"Grandma was always like a mother to me and I have fond memories of our times together when I was young, our pleasant conversations, and a caring heart. I am so glad I was able to return a caring heart back to her throughout different years of her life when she needed help and I pray and look forward to seeing her again in the resurrection! "Anna Josephine Hacker is the mother of my wife Josephine Anna Sybenga. Over the years I have grown to love her as I did my own mother, and I always knew her as "Grandma". Our home is in Sun City, AZ where she lived with us for a time, as she did with JoAnn previously. JoAnn and I come to Logan, Utah for the summer but we also spent much time with Grandma in Carroll, over the years, and now until the end. Grandma will always live on in my memory. I send my condolences to all of her family and friends since I am unable to be in Carroll at this time, but JoAnn is there for me and I will be there with all of you in my own way from here. Love. John. John and JoAnn Sybenga"
