Kathleen Ann, daughter of Ervin F. and Margaret (Brady) Kuhl, was born June 19, 1952, at
Kathy remained at home in Templeton with her parents. After the death of her father in 1966, her mother continued to care for her at home. In September of 1989, Kathy suffered from a back problem and after a spell in the hospital she entered the Manning Plaza Nursing Home. Her mother died in 1995. Throughout her life she enjoyed television and loved looking at pictures of celebrities in magazines. She also carefully looked at all the pictures in the local newspaper. Young children enchanted her and she had a friendly smile for anyone visiting the Plaza. She participated in the bowling activity at the Plaza and her love of music was evident as she sang and danced along whenever music was played.
Kathy led a very contented life at the Plaza and died there suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the age of 55 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Preceding her in death are her parents; aunt Ruth and husband Ronnie Hiatt; two uncles Don Brady and wife Verna and George Brady and wife Marie; and brother-in-law Fred Thury.
Kathy is survived by her sister Teresa Kuhl of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; nieces Sara Thury and Patrick Street of Toronto and Alexis Thury of New York; great niece Veda Street; aunt Alice Buckles of Brea, CA; cousins, who were her Manning family, Paul Hiatt, Jodi Hiatt, Eric Foutch, Nikki and husband Richard Sorensen and their children Ronnie and Carter; other relatives, friends and her Plaza family.

"My mother-in-law Deb Grimm first introduced us to Kathy when we would make our rounds in the plaza. We have a 3 year old with Down Syndrome. We always went to see her when we were in Manning. There will always be a special place in the hearts of our family for Kathy. We will miss her smiling face when we visit. You were so blessed to have a gentle soul like Kathy in your family. We were so lucky to have met her. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time."
