"My deepest sympathies go out to Ryan's family in Iowa. Ryan was a terrific guy and is well loved by his adoptive family here in Texas. I regret that he did not get to meet his newest nephew, Jackson who would have loved him as much as his other adoptive neices and nephews: Kya, Kaynah, Conor and Tristyn. As for me, Ryan - I will miss you little brother."
"Ryan was my best friend and will be missed. He came over to my house every day. Now my evenings grow quieter and remind me of how much he was a part of our lives. I will remember him always and a piece of me will be with him until we meet again."
"Ryan came into our lives through Marcia and Nick Blount. He and Shady became family members and was always at our house for every family event and ALWAYS brought his appetite. Our grandchildren all called him Uncle Ryan and he was especially popular with our grandsons, Conor and Tristyn. We love and miss him."
"I'm making pot roast tonight, and you won't be here to smother it in your left wing Heinz ketchup and ruin it all... but I wish you were. Thinking of you ~ we miss you so much, but will see you one day again."
"I would like to express my sympathy for the Ryan O'Tool family. My brother, Jesse, has been good friends with Ryan, Clancy, and Casey. I moved from Coon Rapids 10 1/2 yrs ago. I have fond memories of Clancy, Ryan, and Casey coming over to my place in Coon Rapids and hanging out with Jesse. I have lots of memories of Ryan holding my son, Jacob, when he was an infant. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Ryan's friendship has meant alot to my brother, Jesse. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers-- Lori, Jacob, and Derek Ragan Maryville, MO"
"Dear Pam, You are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I know that your faith will give you comfort. I hope that you and your family will be the source of support and understanding for each other, and may our heavenly Father give you consolation and peace. Elise"
"To Pam. As a parent we feel that we will always be there to protect our children from all harm, but in times like this we come to realize that God is the true parent of us all and sometimes he wants His children to come home to his loving arms. My deepest sympathy. Love Diana Sherrod"
"My condolences. A small history/memory of mine which I hope you can hold onto: I was a classmate of Ryan's from Coon Rapids-Bayard. I sat next to him many a times throughout school whenever we were told to sit alphabetically, and even though I didn't know him personally, I had always expected him to sit next to me at high school graduation. Even though he had chided me about various things throughout the years since middle school, I was actually upset that he didn't have the opportunity to sit next to me for graduation. I was glad to have run into him a few years later and talk with him a little, and was pleased to hear that he'd gotten his GED. He was a smart kid, and I'm sorry to hear of his loss."
