He lived in Coon Rapids and attended Annunciation School and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1979. After graduation Jeff continued working for Garst & Thomas as he had during school. He worked his way up through the company to the positions of field supervisor and distribution tech, and he loved the farm fields in which he worked. For a time Jeff also drove the ambulance for the Coon Rapids EMS. On February 2, 1989 Jeff was united in marriage with Angela Namanny (and it was a cold day.) Three children were born to this union. Jeff was very active in the Annunciation Church and a member of the Lion's Club. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, making fabulous chocolate chip and monster cookies and surfing Craig's List for a good deal or the latest gadget. Jeff loved to read the entire Des Moines Register. He looked forward to vacations in Arkansas with his family. Jeff never missed a chance to support his children's activities, especially their sports games. Jeff was working in Onawa, Iowa when he died suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, June 24, 2010. He was 49 years, 8 months and 20 days of age. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Richie Namanny.
