"I have very fond memories of playing at the Fasbenders and the wonderful baking Mercedes did. I loved that she gave the kids she knew homemade glazed doughnuts for Halloween and I have pictures of my first communion lamb cake she made for me. Mercedes was always so kind to us. May your memories help you at this sad time and your family has my deepest sympathy."

"I grew up across the street from Mercedes, Paul and the Fasbender family. Their front porch was my 2nd home. I will always remember Mercedes for her gentleness and her laugh. I know that mom and dad welcomed her to heaven today. RIP Mercedes"
