In loving memory of

Cindy Katie Hadlock
January 5, 1982 - June 16, 2020

Cindy Katie Hadlock, loving wife and mother, passed away June 16th, 2020 peacefully and surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer at the age of 38. Cindy was born on January 5th, 1982 to Patti Lynne Anderson and Russell Leonard Anderson in Vernal, UT.

Cindy graduated from Uintah High School in 2000 and went on to graduate from Utah Valley University with a bachelors degree in Anthropology. She served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the British Columbia mission where she was a faithful hardworking servant of the Lord. Cindy married the love of her life Lance William Hadlock on April 23rd, 2010 at the Provo Utah Temple for time and all eternity. Cindy and Lance went on many adventures together and Cindy loved every minute spent with her husband Lance. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Dillon and Abigail. Cindys children were her true joy. She was a devoted mother and loved her children dearly.

Cindy loved attending the temple and doing family history work. She had an infectious smile and laugh. We are going to miss all the times we would sit around and laugh till our stomachs could not take it anymore. Cindy loved the mountains. She loved hiking, camping, and hunting but her favorite thing to do was fishing. She called it her happy place. Big fish, little fish, she didnt care, just as long as she was fishing. As a family, we always competed to see who would get the first fish, the biggest fish, and the most fish and Cindy was always the winner.

Cindy touched so many lives with her strength, courage, and faith. She always had a positive attitude and a great outlook on life. Cindy is a hero and an example to all of us. She will be so very missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Lance Hadlock, children Dillon Lance Hadlock and Abigail Kathleen Hadlock, Mother Patti Anderson, Father Russell Anderson, Mother-in-law Kathy Hadlock, Father-in-law Kent Hadlock, Siblings: Shalene (Cody) Bullock, Eric (Carolyn) Anderson, Austin (Chelsy) Anderson, Gina (Zachary) Galloway, Brother-in-laws, Wyatt (Heather) Hadlock, Jared (Katrina) Hadlock, Clint (Nicole) Hadlock, Grandparents Dorothy and Glade Anderson, Leon Moon, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Bonnie Moon, Aunt Judy Jacobson, Uncle James Moon.

The family would like to thank the many friends and the Vernal Community who have blessed Cindy and her family with their many acts of love and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You brought countless smiles to our sweet Cindys face.
