Dillon Arnold Slater was born June 10, 2000 in Provo, Utah. He passed away May 15, 2020 of a tragic accident in St. George, Utah. He was 19 years of age. Dillon and his family lived in Eagle Mountain, Utah until they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005.
Dillons favorite super hero was Spiderman. He just had to have a Spiderman costume to wear everywhere he went. His favorite holiday was Halloween. He had to have a new scary mask every year. He did have a best friend named Zach who he met when he was five and spent time with him quite often. He enjoyed spending time with his mom even if it was a short trip to Chic-Fil-A for his favorite chicken. He like hiking, fishing and camping. As he got older he enjoyed Karate, dirt bikes and shooting guns with his dad. He also enjoyed going in the mountains with his aunt Sara and his dog Buddy.
Dillon is survived by his parents Carl Ray Slater and Lisa D. Slater, his stepsister Britany Slater Evans and Nate Evans and their children; his aunt Sara Slater Savana; his grandmother Mae Slater; John Arnold Slater, deceased grandfather; Kathleen Parkinson, grandmother; Bonnie L. Rogers, great aunt; Vernetta V. Parry, great aunt; and several other deceased aunts and uncles.
Gravside services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 12:30p.m. at the Manila Cemetery (3rd East 4th North, Manila, Utah). Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com
