"sorry for your loss!!!! Mike gave our son david his first job!!!! I will always be thankful for that!!!! payers at this time!!!! "
Mike Winn, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin passed away on September 8, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Winn, daughter Desiree Brown, son-in-law, Rance Brown, sons Micheal and McCoy Winn, and two grandsons, Decker and Ryker Brown.
He is preceded in death by his father, Irwin Earl Winn and mother, Mary Marie Price Winn.
Mike was born September 7, 1961 in Vernal, Utah. He had great pride in his hometown and was known by many. He was best known for his hard work, honesty, fairness and innovation. Mike was the ultimate fabricator, whether it was for a large oil company or helping his boys build robots. He could see the vision and bring it to life. He owned and operated Winns Welding and Repair from 1988 to present. He will be greatly missed in the business community.
Mike not only worked hard but loved to play hard with his family. Foremost, he loved to be on the lake and fish. But the family enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors; hiking, biking, hunting, boating. You name it they did it. Summer was their fun time. During the winter months, there was always a table set up with a puzzle that they all worked on together. The family had many good times together playing cards and board games as well. There was a lot of love and laughter around that table. The sound of Mikes laughter will live on with his family forever.
A Memorial open house will be held Friday from 3-5PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
