Charles Curtis (Curt) Bilbey left this life to be with his Lord on February 17, 2016 in Vernal, Utah. Curt was born July 20, 1958 in Vernal, Utah to Charles Denis and Barbara Ann Bilbey. He was reborn through the Sacrament of Baptism on November 16, 1958. Curt confirmed his faith in Christ as his Lord and Savior at his Conformation on May 21, 1972 at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vernal, Utah. Curt married Cathy Ann Anderson on March 4, 1977 in Vernal. They are the parents of two children, Chuck (Michelle) and Julie Latham (Sean). They have six grandchildren, Jace Bilbey, Ricki Ann Bilbey, Hunter Bilbey, Corwin Bilbey, Josh Latham, and Bradon Latham. Curt is survived by his wife Cathy of 39 years. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Ann Bilbey and sister Alece (Mark) Partridge He is preceded in death by his father Denis and his brother Rick. A joyous celebration of resurrection into eternal life service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church. An opportunity to say goodbye to Curt will be on Sunday 6-8 P.M. at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Monday 9-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
