John Boyington, 87, of Ocala, Fl., went home to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Oct. 9, 2020. He was born in Miami, FL where he lived until he had a stroke and was moved to Ocala in December of 2010, along with his wife & mother. He lived at Palm Garden of Ocala where he was loved by residents and staff for 10 years. He was an amazing dad and Papo and was loved by many. Always a smile on his face, and when asked how he was feeling, the answer was always, "I feel great!" He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again -- Good night, sweet dreams, and we love you! He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Smith. Grandchildren Danny and Rhiannon Smith, Jamie and B.J. Hammett, David and Missy Smith. Great-grandchildren Taylor and Braylon Hammett, Jaiden, Darius, Embry and Elora Smith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Dottie) Boyington.
