Susanne Marston Mennella, 81, resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on September 30, 2020.
Sue was born March 16, 1939, in Oak Park, Illinois and was the older of 2 children born to John Edward Marston and Ruth Spelman Marston. She attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio and earned her degree in nursing from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
After graduation, she went to work for the Visiting Nurse Association of Chicago and eventually became a Courier Nurse for the Santa Fe Railway Company. During her time with the railroad, she met her future husband, James Joseph Mennella, a pilot for United Airlines, and they began their 48 year marriage adventure.
She is survived by her son James, daughter Jessika, sister Sharon, several grandchildren and many more family and friends.
