Martha Anne Mobley
November 5, 1943 - October 9, 2020

On Friday, October 9th, 2020, Martha Anne Mobley, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 76.

Martha was born on November 5, 1943, in Cumming, GA to Alfred and Zonia Pruitt. She graduated from Forsyth County High School in 1962. She left a long career with the Insurance Company of North America (INA). She retired from the business world in 2008 after a long career. In her retirement, she was a loving wife, sister, grandmother, great aunt, and avid gardening enthusiast. On May 1st, 1971, she married Charles Mobley. They were married for 49 years.

Martha loved planting flowers and watching them grow. She loved to take everyone that she could to Gibbs Gardens to go see what was new each season. Martha was a loving sister. She took care of any family member in need at any time. She was truly selfless. Martha and Charles were members of Silver City Baptist church and they were heavily involved in it. Martha loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zonia and her father, Alfred, her brothers Roy and Tony, her sisters Jan and Linda. She is survived by her Husband, Charles, her sons Danny and, Shawn Mobley whom her and Charles adopted at a young age. Her sisters Clara, Jackie, and Retha, and her brothers Loy and Michael. She has two grandchildren Dakota of Georgia and Mercedes Mobley of Sheridan Oregon daughter of Danny Mobley and she had a multitude of loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with a graveside procession to Sawnee View Gardens afterward.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4:0 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday the hour prior to the service.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040 is in charge of arrangements.

"Charles so sorry for your loss! I just saw obituary tonight! I loved her so much! I know this angel on earth is with Jesús now! ! I will not be able to be there today but will be praying for you friend! I have never forgotten the kindness freindship you guys showed your younger friend through the years!!
