Eudema E. Abbott, 85, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on September 28, 2020 at Visions Memory Care at Mesa. She was the widow of Homer T. Abbott, Sr. with whom she shared 52 loving years of marriage.
Born in Cortez, CO Eudema was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Miles and Ida Mae Miles (Weir). She attended Blue Jacket High School. She loved painting, crafts and cooking. Everyone who knew Eudema will always remember her big smile and bubbly personality.
She is survived by five children Homer T. Abbott Jr., Nancy E. Jones, Ava E. Lortie, Joseph A. Abbott, and Thomas W. Abbott (Bill). Surviving grandchildren are Cade Lortie, Chase Lortie and Haylee Ransom and three great grandchildren are Emma Ransom, Wyatt Ransom and Chloe Ransom.
The Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020 and immediately followed at 11:00 a.m. by the Graveside Service at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
Flowers may be sent to the Hansen Chapel.
