"My deepest, heartfelt sympathies to you, Skip, Steve, and Dave! I choose to remember Matt and Jackie as they were in the 1950's and 60's. Wonderful people in our fantastic Northside "Floral Avenue" neighborhood. What a great neighborhood it was! So many children and the dogs ran free. Your mother and father were such good friends to my parents and my sister has remained life long friends to you, Skip. I understand that the electrical substation is gone and a new house sits on that site but I bet the "woods" still draws any children living in the neighborhood. I still to this day owe allegiance to Celotex and hold my time spent working there in my heart. All thanks to Matt. He was a great supervisor to work for as I spent the majority of my time on the loading dock. I'll be thinking of you all on Thursday. Sincerely, Robert Rhea, Marion Iowa"
