"It was with great sadness to read that Candase had passed away on Saturday. My heartfelt condolences to Richard and the family. I had just saw her on Friday as she arrived at the dialysis center and I wanted to help Richard get her inside the center. He went to get her a wheelchair, as I was outside talking to her. About that time our senior bus arrived to pick my husband and I up to take us home. Only time I wished the bus was late picking us up, as I wanted to help Candy. It never occurred to me, that would be my last time to see her. Richard has been such a wonderful man to take care of her during her visits to the center. It was something about Candy, that drew her to me. She had such a great sense of humor and you wanted to be around her. Our last laugh was that Wednesday, when she wanted to know why the dialysis chairs did not have cup holders! She loved to talk about her grandchildren . I will truly miss her and I pray she is at peace now. Lois & Tony Engels"
