"John was my Pastor at Salem during my elementary school years. My favorite memories were from our Youth Choir trip to South Georgia in 1975. John took us to one of the Georgia Baptist Children?s Homes. We sang at churches around the area and had the best fellowship with our church friends and family. "

"Rev. John Lummus will always have a Special place in my heart - he was our Pastor at Providence Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia when I was Saved. Rev. Lummus and Rev. Carl Stewart were leading Revival -they prayed with me, baptised me and I will forever be grateful. Two of the finest men & Preachers I have ever known. Prayers for the family."
