"Duane was the best neighbor you could ask for, always ready to help whether pushing a stuck car or cutting up the tree across the driveway. Unfailingly pleasant and a treasure trove of stories and ?yooper solutions ? to any problem. He was an inspiration for aging, up roofing at ninety. He will greatly missed ."

"We were privileged to meet him and Lillian in 1969 when we were assigned as special pioneers to their congregation. It was all so new to us and they helped us in every way... especially when the car wouldn?t start due to cold or the heater was not working in the apartment. When we needed a break we could go and relax with Duane and Lillian and the family. What wonderful home cooked meals we had but the love shown us and the stories he told were great and never forgotten! We thank Jehovah He gave us Duane and his family then and we ALL thank Jehovah we will have him back soon. We send our deep affection and love to Dearest Lillian, Debbie, David and Theresa, and Dale.
