William H. Leister, 76, of Core, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at his residence.
He was born December 4, 1943 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Hilary and Gertrude Leister.
Survivors include his children, Beth Sheridan and husband Chuck, and William Leister and wife Tammy; his grandchildren, Kayla, CJ and Amanda; great-grandchildren Layla and Leah; and his sisters Dorothy Wood of Kelso, CA and Rosalind Yarham of the United Kingdom.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Louise Kraus Leister, and a sister Audrey Elizabeth Root.
Bill was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He retired as a field engineer from IBM.
At Bill's request, he will be cremated with no public services planned.
