Ascension

And if I go,
While you're still here...
Know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
--behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar together again,
--both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest.
And when you need me,
just whisper my name in your heart,
... I will be there.

Byron Koenig wrote on Sep 6, 2020:

"Back in the early 70\'s, I worked for OK Auto Supply in Marquette. I dealt with Dan on a daily basis. He was a great man, very kind. He seemed to like to project a \"tough, no nonsense, it\'s going to be my way\" attitude, but he was not that way. He was someone we at the parts store all looked up to. I met George back then also when I had to work for a week in the Houghton store. Fond memories. I am so sorry for your loss. "

Kathy Franti wrote on Sep 6, 2020:

"Pat, the unconditional care, love and support you gave your dad was second to none. Your were always there for your parents in their years of need. I know the many miles and hours around the Presque Isle Island will live on in your memories as the \"special\" moments between dad and daughter. Daniel was the lucky one, you are the blessed one for your gifts of the heart. Your dad knew he had you at his side......always! He is at peace and is smiling to the Big Band music on the other side. "

"Dan was one of the most interesting people I worked with over my 40 plus years in broadcasting. He was always engaging and had the look like he knew something special and didn\'t know for sure if he should share it. I knew the look and would say, ok Dan, what ? He\'d grin and carry on from there. As a coworker, you could always rely on Dan. As the owner of WDMJ, it was always reassuring for me to know that Dan was on the air and was very comforting to hear that big beautiful voice of his, and, he was one of the most honest men I have known. His family and friends were very important to him. May he rest in peace. Lou W Chappell Marquette"

"Roz. I was really sorry to learn that your dad has passed away. You know how much I enjoyed knowing him and what a truly great human being he was. I spent many mornings with him in the next room at WJPD/WDMJ. I can truly say I learned a lot from him about life and I?m definitely better off for having known him. It?s obvious he taught you how to be an awesome person and his legacy lives on through you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family in this time. "

I never knew my husband worked with him in the 70\'s and so many times we would hear him on the radio and John would say that\'s little Danny Rozman I used to work with him what a great guy he will be very missed!!"

"Dan, the multi-faceted man, leaves a smile with those who knew him. He helped me as a young man through his mechanical gifts, impressed me as an adult with his strength in supporting working people, and entertained me for decades with his resonant voice as he recreated radio broadcasts of years gone by. What a guy! We send our sympathy to his family with the knowledge Dan left behind a chorus of smiling fans. "
