KAREN A. LOHF
February 10, 1939 - September 2, 2020

Karen A. Lohf, 81, of Marquette, passed away Wednesday evening, September 2, 2020 at U.P. Health System- Marquette.

Karen was born on February 10, 1939 in Ironwood, MI to the late Carl A. and Lydia E. (Morrison) Koykar and was a 1957 graduate of Ironwood High School.

She worked as a real estate agent in the Marquette area for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family on their boat, "The Karen Too," in the Lower Harbor at the Fish Dock. She was a lifetime member of the Fish Dock Association. Karen was also a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 44Auxillary and was a former member of Women of the Moose

In 1957 Karen was elected Homecoming Queen for Ironwood High School and in 1958 she was crowned Miss Gogebic County where she rode across the brand new Mackinac Bridge during its dedication in a white Oldsmobile convertible.

Karen is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Billie) Ladwig of Negaunee; her significant other, Wally Posio of Marquette; step-daughter, Rosemarie Lohf of Las Vegas, NV; step-sons, Warren Lohf, Fred Lohf and Gregory (Mickey) Lohf; a sister, Donna Lewis of Indianapolis, IN; also one grandson, Aaron Zoppetti. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Edward F. Lohf in 1993; a son, Gregory Scott Ladwig in 2002 and a sister, Sandra Thompson.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, September 10th at 1 p.m. at Northland Chapel Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Molly Eversoll of Messiah Lutheran Church officiating. The service will be live streamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/karen-lohf
