Donald Ray Pride, age 74, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Saturday at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. Born November 14, 1934 in Daviess County he was the son of Charles E. and Geraldine (Brothers) Pride. He attended Plainville Schools and retired from Centaur Petroleum Corporation of Plainville. He was a member of the Eagles. Surviving is two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Marcy Pride and Troy and Cheryl Pride all of Washington; three daughters, Christina Hume of Plainville, Dee Pride of Batesville, and Twyla Pride of Bloomington; three brothers, Charlie "Dick" Pride of Washington, Joe Pride of North Carolina, and Garry Pride of Kentucky; one sister, Patty Wam from Arizona; five grandchildren, Tara (John) Smith of Odon, Erica Hume and Adrianne Edwards both of Bloomington, and Tori and Will Pride both of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margaret Ann Pride. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Christina Hume residence in Plainville.
