Mildred Barnthouse, age 94, of Washington passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Daviess Community Hospital.
Mildred was born February 15, 1925 in Lawrenceville, Indiana to Roy Love Berkshire and Ethel Louise (Cook) Berkshire. She graduated from Bridgeport Township High School in 1942. She retired from Crane in 1989. She loved to sew, bake and grow flowers.
She is survived by a son Harry Daniel (Terry) Barnthouse III of Virginia Beach; two daughters Marsha Barnthouse of Georgetown, TX and Melissa (David) Osmon of Washington; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Harry D Barnthouse Jr. who she married on May 26, 1945; her parents; a sister Helen Newman; a brother Jack Berkshire, and one grandson.
A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11:30 am at Shiloh Cemetery Bridgeport, Illinois.
