Charles Duane Foster
March 2, 1932 - February 8, 2009
Charles 'Duane' Foster, age 76 of Frankfort, Illinois and formerly of Montgomery, passed away Sunday at 3:10 p.m. at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois. He was born in Daviess County March 2, 1932 to Virgil A. and Mary F. (Yates) Foster. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He loved spending time restoring old foreign cars. He is survived by one daughter, Lisa King of Indiana; one son, David Foster of Indiana; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Wanda Foster of Washington, and Frank and Donna Foster of Mesa, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorrie (Canady) Foster, whom he married October 16, 1997, on April 16, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Annaveeve Foster. A memorial service will be held Saturday at1 p.m.at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday till the hour of services.
