"I am so sorry."
Taylor Marie Fritschle, age 27, Washington IN, left this world in the exact way she lived it; she never did anything haphazardly. She passed in a single car accident on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Taylor was born September 1, 1990 and came into this world a fighter. Her determination and grit remained with her until the end. She was an incredible athlete, being named to the very first Jump Start National team, a team that afforded her the opportunity to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. She was fast as lightening and strong as an ox. She was a diver and enjoyed being the only Hatchet that competed alongside her friends from Lincoln; she loved training at with the most elite coaches at Indiana University.
She was beautiful, quick witted, intelligent, stubborn, and went from 0 to 120 in 2.0 seconds. She worked extremely hard at all facets of her life and always made sure to celebrate and enjoy her little free time with friends and family with just as much determination.
She leaves behind her parents, her biggest fans, Dawn and Bruce Fritschle; grandparents whom she loved fiercely, Arlene Sobecki, and Ed and Darlene Fritschle. She is loved and missed dearly by her special Aunt Brenda and Uncle Dean Sobecki, Aunt Lila and Uncle Rob Smith, who had her back through thick and thin. She will be missed by her Uncle Duane and Aunt Jennie Sobecki, Uncle Mike Bartholomew, Aunts Dianne Fritschle and Belinda Kirgan, and Uncle Chuck and Aunt Carol. Taylor will be loved and missed by her sister, Katie Daily and her husband Joe, as well as Taylor's adorable niece and nephews, Landon, Lexi, and Emmett.
Her pets, Grady, Arnold and Matt the cat, miss her too. Taylor will be missed by her many cousins and friends from all walks of life. But, most of all, Taylor leaves behind her beloved brother, Tanner Fritschle and his wife Alicia, who she loved with every fiber of her being. Tanner and Alicia brought into this world Taylor's pride and joy, her brand new niece, Jada.
Taylor will be welcomed in heaven by her beloved sidekick, her grandpa James Sobecki, and her uncle who teased her constantly, but loved her consistently, Dan Sobecki. Also hugging her the moment she arrived in heaven, are her Great grandparents, Frank and Florence Jozwiak.
Taylor leaves some very special men in her life, the guys she worked with at Eagle Railcar. They recognized her talent, her brain, and capacity to learn at an incredible speed. She was so proud to be a female welder, and she was settling into her new roles as QA/QC, and inbound inspector.
Visitation will be at Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington, IN on Friday December 15 from 4-8 PM. Service is Saturday the 16th at Ed Lee Mortuary at 1:00 PM, because, well, Taylor didn't do mornings. Burial will follow at a later date
She loved with absolutely everything she had. She overcame many obstacles along her path. In that light, we are requesting that in lieu of flowers, memorial be made to the following domestic abuse program and shelter:
CODA (Counsel on Domestic Abuse)- 4470 South Houseman St. Terre Haute, IN 47802. Donations can also be made online at www.codaterrehaute.org

Loving, driven, beautiful, intelligent women always pressing forward against any odds! Dawn blessed me with the honor of babysitting Taylor periodically! During those times she was such a delight! Dawn, my dear, sweet friend my love & prayers are with you and your family. May God comfort & carry you through this dark valley "
"Peace, comfort and prayers for the Family. Hugs."
"It is always so sad when a young person passes. None of us know when our Lord will say it is our time. I wasn't personally acquainted with Taylor but I feel I am a close friend of her Grandmother Arlene. Arlene and I pray together in the chapel and volunteer together at St. Vincent's. My heart broke when I heard Arlene's granddaughter had passed because I have family I love and I feel the same feelings I know that Arlene had to deal with. Arlene, since this happened, I have been in prayer constantly for you, your family and Taylor. I'm sure Taylor has no regrets, she is with her beloved family and God and would never wish to leave. My prayers will continue for a long time for all of you because I have placed your names in my prayer box and I will pray until I am called. God Bless all of you!"
"Taylor was a interesting and kind soul. Glad to have known and meet her. She will be missed. Godspeed!"
