Edward Eugene Addington
March 21, 1949 - November 26, 2007

Edward Eugene Addington age 58 of Old Town, Florida and formerly of Washington passed away at 1:38 a.m. Monday in Gainsville, Florida. Born March 21, 1949 in Grundy, Virginia he was the son of Joseph Edward and Virginia (Lockler) Addington. He was a graduate of Grundy High School in Grundy, Virginia, a Vietman Army Veteran and a Disabled American Veteran. He was a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge, the ABC Bowling Association, and the Shriners. Surviving is one son, Joseph Twain Addington of Washington; three daughters, Angela Denise Addington of Chattanooga, Tenn., Sabrina Sue Reed and Samantha Fae Addington both of Washington; his father and step-mother, Joseph "Ed" and Jean Addington of Grundy, Virginia; three brothers, Bobby Harold Bradley of Racine, Wisconsin, Dean Addington of Grundy, Virginia, and Danny Bradley of Waco, Texas; four sisters, Patty Gail Bishop of Virginia, Wendy Weber of Charleston, SC, Tammy Scott of Grundy, Virginia, and Pamela Monk of Richland, Virginia; and seven grandchildren, Gauge Keiller, Gabrielle Ann Reed, and Devon Eugene Reed all of Washington, Tiffany Addington, Courtney Addington, and Chelsea Addington all of Chattanooga, Tenn, and Anthony Scott of Grundy, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Bradley and two sisters, Lucille Dempsey and Carolyn Addington. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM till the hour of services at Ed Lee Mortuary.
