"Dear All, We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother/grandmother. I always enjoyed seeing Ruth (such a beautiful lady) and was taken back by her spirit, her sweetness and devotion to her family. She was truly a wonderful "Lady" and I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing her. You all can be very proud of her and her decision. She knew what she wanted to do! You have a wonderful memory of woman that was so very sweet, kind and smart! We are thinking of you all! Love, Sue and Gerald and family"

Shirley Haynes wrote on Aug 6, 2009:

"Please convey my condolences to the family of Ruth Hamm, my cousin by marriage. I know she was a fine lady, and will be greatly missed by many on this earth. Since I live in a distant state (Oregon), I have not had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Ruth, but the times I have visited with her have been special. I lived in Washington, Indiana as a small child, so was privileged to have met her at that time, since she and my older sister, Nina, was her friend when they were teenagers together. Since then I have visited with Ruth once in the mid-eighties and once in 2005, for several hours each time, enough to have developed an affection and high regard for her. I expect to get to continue getting to know her and my Uncle Russell better when we gather together in Heaven in the near future, along with other family members and friends. In the words of my Uncle John Freeman from the other side of my family tree: ?There will be a grand reunion in Heaven.?"
