John Aldridge Baugh III, age 75, of Washington, passed away on November 3, 2017 at The Villages of Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
He was born on August 16, 1942 in Washington to John A. Baugh II and Anna Catherine (Buzan) Baugh. He graduated from Washington High School in 1960 and retired from Amax Coal Company where he worked as an equipment operator. John had been a member of the Indiana National Guard and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
John is survived by two sons, Gregory Alan Baugh and Jackie Lynn Baugh both of Montgomery; one daughter, Lisa Dawn Baugh of Sarasota, Florida; two sisters, Joanne Sullivan and Joyce Peek both of Washington; four grandchildren, Caleb Baugh, Dillion Baugh, Elliott Baugh and Peyton June Baugh.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marilyn June (Hedrick) Baugh.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery Reeve Township. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
