"To Pam, Rhonda, Randy, Jeff and the rest of Ms. Grannan's family, I sincerely feel your sorrow. Rhonda and I have been friends forever, although I only made it to Washington a very few times with her (and her family). Ms. Grannan was very spunky and sparky from what I could see, and you all are blessed for being a part of her life. You're a great family that seem to have some very strong, invisible bonds of love and appreciation for each other. May you feel comfort in knowing such a special lady. My thoughts are with you all :) - Cindy O'Brien"

"Dear family of Stella, I am sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one to death is never easy, no matter what their age. But you can take some comfort in knowing that Stella lived a long life and was able to experience things few ever will. You can also take comfort in knowing that you have the opportunity to see Stella again. John 5:28 and 29 read, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Christ's) voice and come out." I hope you find solace in this message."

"Our deepest sympathy to the Stella Grannan family. Our Mothers were such good friends for so many years and I thank God for their friendship. Stella was a warm and loving person, she will be missed by so many lives she touched. God has added another Angel to the Heavens. Joyce and I also have the pleasure of growing up with June and Steve and continuing a friendship. We all have so much to be thankful. Dear God, thank you for allowing us to share the memories of knowing Stella. Sincerely, Joyce Cox and Mary Clauss"

"You are truly missed Grandma. You are one in a million and I am so lucky to have had you as part of my life growing up. No words can describe how much you mean to the family and the community. Thank you so much for raising your son to be the man that he is. Without him, I would not be where I am or be the person I am today. I hope you are resting peacefully. I love you and will miss you for all the years to come. Heather-kay"
