Theresia W. Hoggatt, 85, formerly of Indianapolis, died Monday in Brownsburg. Born October 23, 1925, in Washington, she was the daughter of William Edward and Marguerite (Wilz) Walker. She was a 1943 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She worked as financial administrator for Sigma Kappa National Sorority in Indianapolis. She was a member of Sigma Kappa National Sorority, Ave Maria Circle Daughters of Isabella No. 598, and St. Luke Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She is survived by her sister, Roberta Stratman of Brownsburg; nephews, John Stratman of Richmond, Ky., and Gary Stratman of Kildeer, Ill.; nieces, Susan Bradtmueller of Brownsburg and Anne Harth of Long Grove, Ill.; five grandnephews; three grandnieces, and one great-grandniece. Her husband, W. Jerome Hoggatt, whom she married April 19, 1952 at St. Simon Catholic Church, is deceased. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary, immediately followed by a mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father David Fleck as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church or to St. Luke Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
