Wilma Walker
March 19, 1928 - January 17, 2018

Wilma Walker, 89, of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.  


She was born in Harrison Township on March 19, 1928 to Chris and Elizabeth (Kinsella) Doyle.


She graduated from Glendale High School and had worked at Penny’s catalog department. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.                  


She is survived by three sons, Steve (Maryann) Walker of Lee Summit, Missouri, Paul (Patty) Walker of Villa Hills, Kentucky and Mark Walker of Guyman, Oklahoma; daughter, Jill Walker of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vincent Walker, on February 9, 2002, whom she married, February 1, 1947; son, John Walker on December 25, 2016; three brothers, Ralph Doyle, Bob Doyle and Chris Doyle; six sisters, Rose Zinkan, Rita Mullinix, Cleo Downey, Ellen Disser, Eula Tuell and Verna Klingle; daughter in law, Clydean Walker.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
