Normagene Kennedy age 89, of Washington, passed away on Saturday at 1:15 AM at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on April 30, 1919 in Washington to Nicholas and Anna (Neighbor) Casper. She was a 1937 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She had worked at Bess Graves Dress Shop and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Gene Johnson and Jo Ann Kennedy of Washington, and Nancy Lee Cline of Bradenton, Florida; four grandchildren, Brent Cline of Washington, Brett Cline of Bradenton, Florida, Melissa Gross Bradenton, Florida and Kelly Patterson of Holt Michigan; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Kennedy on September 4, 1988, whom she had married on August 1, 1936. Her father, Nicholas Casper; her mother, Anna Casper McCausland, and two brothers, John Casper and Joseph Casper are also deceased. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday with a wake service at 4 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary. Memorial donations maybe made to St. John Cemetery for paving of the drives.
