Connie J. Young, age 65, of Glendale, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.


She was born on July 15, 1953 in Marion, Indiana to Donald and Barbara (Murray) Vetor. She graduated from Anderson High in 1971 and had worked at the Schnitzelbank Restaurant, as a waitress.


She is survived by her husband, Jim Young whom she married on May 24, 1996; two daughters, Lorri Ann Brookins of Montgomery and Amanda (Brad Bibler) Brookins of Leesburg, Indiana; one granddaughter, Hannah (Joe French) Murphy; grandson, Mason Kral; niece, Jaime Carlson of Leesburg and Best Friend, Rhonda Kraft of Paducah, Kentucky; several other nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel 620 East Viola Avenue.


She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kay Heckaman.
