William R. Cline
August 4, 1926 - May 31, 2010

William R. 'Bill' Cline age 83 of Washington passed away at 2:45 AM on Monday at Bloomington Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1926 in Otwell to Russell and Nellie Ruth (Russell) Cline. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of Ebenezer General Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on trackers and small engines for his many Amish friends. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Troutman) Cline whom he married on November 6, 1948; three daughters and sons in-law, Starr and frank Ruiz of Washington, Kathryn and John Jacobsen of Terre Haute, and Marsha and David Coleman of Mitchell; four sons and daughters in-law, William R. Jr. and Natasha Cline of Haysville, Steven 'Kirby' and Mila Cline of Washington, Calvin Cline of Montgomery, and Robert and Audrey Cline of Heltonville.; one brother Jim Cline of Loogootee; nineteen grandchildren ; and eighteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, one great grandson, eight sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary. Condolences may be sent online at www.edleemortuary.com
