Dorothy Fair

Dorothy J. Fair, age 79, OF Washington, passed away at 9:10 PM on Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on June 13, 1933 in Pike County to Levi M. and Irene R. (Benjamin) Myers. She was a graduate of Otwell High School and Indianapolis Methodist Nursing School. She was a member of the Washington Free Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters and sons in-law, Cheryl and Tim Collins of Greenville, Ohio and Janet and Mike Gregory of Washington; four sisters, Lorene Oglesby of Huston, Texas, Mary Kenshol of Sycamore, Illinois, Joyce Randall of Evansville, and Betty Mosby of Tucson, Arizona; one brother, Charles Myers of Petersburg; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral D. Fair on Octobrer25, 2004, whom she had married on June 12, 1954. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 7 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Pastor Wayne Neely officiating. Burial will be in McClure Cemetery at Algiers, In.
