David J. Rogers

David J. Rogers, age 48, of Washington, passed away at 1:59 am on Monday at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born on May 27, 1964 in Washington to Bruce and Catherine (Backes) Rogers. He was a 1982 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in Computer Technology. He was pursuing a degree in Biomedical Technology From Vincennes University. He is survived by his wife Molly (Killion) Rogers whom he married on September 1, 1984; three daughters sons in-law, Christina and William Bond, Jennifer and Bill Taylor , and Angela Rogers all of Washington; one son, Aaron Rogers of Vincennes; four grandchildren, Alexis Rogers, Logan Taylor, Katelynn Taylor, and Kalib Bice; two sisters and brothers in-law, Cindy and Michael Kramer, and Mary Lynn and John Wilson all of Washington; and his mother in-law, Catherine Killion of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Kate Rogers. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at E d Lee Mortuary. Memorial Donations may be given to Washington Catholic Pre-School 315 North East 3rd Street-Washington, Indiana 47501.
