Eleanor L. Stuffle
September 1, 2020 - April 18, 2020

Eleanor L. Stuffle, age 88, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Indiana University Health and Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.


 


Eleanor was born on May 26, 1931 in Washington to James Austin and Louise (Baumert) Grove. She loved being around her children, grandchildren and family. Eleanor loved playing cards especially winning and watching T.V. She was always spunky and feisty. Eleanor was a fighter until the very end. She was well loved and will be greatly missed. Eleanor made a huge impact on everyone she met.


 


She is survived by son Eddie (Kathy) Stuffle of Florida; daughters Renee (Jim passed away) Harper of Bloomfield, Mona (Tim) Vuke of Spencer and Myrna (Doug) Smith of Bloomington; Eleanor was blessed with 8 grandchildren Bryan (Heather) Stuffle, Meshelle (Tony) Roberts, J.C. (Brittany) Harper, Krissy (Josh) Strahle, Lindsey (Josh) Clark, Heidi (John) Winders, Austin (Danielle) Vuke, Cheyenne (Tyler) Reoll and Dakota Smith; brother Jim Grove (Janice) of Washington and many great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.


 


Eleanor was married to her soulmate and best friend, Max who she lost January 30, 2015 and looked forward to being reunited with him. She is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Jack and Robert Grove.


 


There will be private services held.  A celebration of Eleanor’s Life will be held at a later date.
