Mary Margaret Morrison
September 1, 2020 - May 28, 2020

Mary Margaret Morrison, age 94 was called home to our Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020, while at home surrounded by her six children and family.


Mary was born January 22, 1926, in Washington to Henry and Addie (Abel) Waltz. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1944 and attended Vincennes University.  Mary lived her faith through her memberships in St. Simon Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Vincent de Paul.


Mary was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She is survived by four sons Philip Morrison and John Morrison both of Washington, Robert Morrison of Clarksville, Tennessee and Mark (Carrie) Morrison of Dallas, Texas; two daughters Carol (Marc) Buickel of Columbus, Indiana and Susan (Ron) Mattingly of Fairhope, Alabama; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.


Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold Morrison, who she married June 5, 1948; her parents; three brothers Gerald, Paul and Clarence Waltz; and two sisters Virgene Clinkenbeard and Patricia Funk.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church at 10AM with Father Paul Ferguson as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.


Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel.  Social distancing will be followed.
