Donna Mae Carpenter
February 23, 1950 - July 30, 2016

Donna Mae Carpenter, age 66, of Washington, passed away at 10:26 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. She was born on February 23, 1950 in Washington to Harry and Bonnie (Rice) Bechtel. She was a 1968 graduate of Elnora High School. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed her time camping and fishing. Donna is survived by her children, Bonnie Carpenter of Washington, and David (Kara) Carpenter of Washington; grandson, Cody Carpenter; great granddaughter, Haiden Carpenter; her mother and step father, Bonnie and Herman Kinser of Washington, father and step mother, Harry and Martha Bechtel of Odon; and one brother, Marty (Kamell) Bechtel of Clayton, In.; two step sisters, Rhonda (John) Phillips of Tennessee and Debby Rollins of Bedford; and one step brother, Steve (Carol) Kinser of Bedford. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lena Kay Pruett, and Betty Ann Bechtel; and her twin brother, Donald Bechtel. Funeral Services will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be at a Later date. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
