"Dear Sandy, Tom and I were very sorry to see that your husband, Hersch, has passed away. I only knew him for a short while, Tom a little longer, through the Eagles Club. The two of you are an inspiration to Tom and I, how we hope to be as we grow old together. God Bless you."

Janice Hull wrote on Mar 2, 2011:

"I am so grateful for all of the condolences that have been sent. We are all going to have to go through this sooner or later. My dad suffered so much in the last four months, he gave us an opportunity to accept the idea that he was leaving and actually be glad that he was no longer in pain. At the viewing and the funeral, I learned more about how much my dad was loved and how much he gave to people. I left Indiana in 1971, but have been back a million times just to see him. If anyone wants to contact me, please e-mail me at jhull2@cox.net. I am amazed at all the postings from people whom I have never forgotten, but never knew how to contact. Love, Jan"

"Janice, I'm sorry to read about your Father's passing. I remember your Dad working at Stoops IGA as a meat cutter, then working for Paul Hurt. You lived on 3rd Street, 2-3 blocks from Harrison School. We were in the same class with Miss Hedrick probably 3rd grade & then your Mother passed away & you moved to Washington, as I remember. We had a Harrison School Reunion last Sept. & you were in all the pictures up until about 4th grade! We would love to include you in the next reunion in 2012. Please keep in touch. With sympathy, John Miller"

"This message is for Janice: Hi Janice: First of all, my thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I don't remember if you remember me - it has so been so many years since we have seen each other! We went to Harrison together (I'm sure you know by now that Mike Wright found you through your Father's obituary). After you moved to Washington and would come back to visit with the Stoops - we would hang out - fond memories - esp going to Troy's for dinner! I hope this finds you well - living in Arizona beats the heck out of the winter we have had in Indiana! Take Care, Vickie"

To: Janice Hull, From Mike Wright wrote on Feb 18, 2011:

"Hello Janice I don't know if you remember many, or any, of your old schoolmates from Harrison in Vincennes, but we remember you. I saw the obituary for your father in the newspaper and decided to send you a note. On behalf of all of our classmates, please accept the deepest sympathies for your loss. Last fall was the 40th high school reunion for our class, and several of us got together a year ahead of time and organized a Harrison reunion, which was held last September. Out of 30 people in our class picture, 15 attended. We even had two teachers attend, Miss Hedrick and Mrs. Weathers. We had a wonderful time, and we wondered where some of our classmates were, including you. I distributed the obit information to the others, so I hope you hear from some of them. In any event, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. mw ------------ Mike Wright Editor, Indiana Alumni Magazine Indiana University Alumni Association Virgil T.
