"Hi Mom, Your Birthday was Easter Sunday this year. We all miss you so much. Easter was beautiful and sunny and I remember how much you enjoyed celebrating your birthday on such a glorious holiday. God's gift to all of us....Easter and your birthday on the same day. You're in my heart, soul, and mind every day and I know your heart is singing in heaven. Life is a blink, and I'll see you again very soon. All my Love Forever, Your Daughter, Kori"

"Mom, Although it has been almost 2 years, it feels like yesterday. The last time we were together before you went to the Hospital was Thanksgiving 2006. I have since cooked your amazing meal by myself for the first time for Dad and family last year, and again for my friends this year. I have a deep appreciation for the mother, wife, and friend that you were and as I told you when I was a little girl, you are my angel. I only pray that I'll be the woman that you were someday. I miss you more than ever. The Holidays were our special time, mother and daughter decorating the house and cooking for the family. I know you're singing for God, and for all that you have done for each of us here, you deserve nothing less than to be by Gods side forever. I look forward to the day when we're together again. My heart, soul, and love forever. Kori"
