"To the Doyle Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always have such fond memories of Charlie. We had some great times camping while Charlie and Dad were at Camp Attebury, especially the time Charlie offered me his binoculars at the rifle range and left me looking like a racoon, as he had baited them with black goop. Charlie was my Dad's best friend. I remember wanting to bury Dad with the ARMY pin he wore/treasured so much, but we were unable to locate it. Charlie managed to get another pin (or else gave me his) so that we could pin it on Dad's suit. That meant so much to me! It's so difficult to believe that Charlie and Dad are both gone, and that the same disease took both of their lives in such a short amount of time. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend."
