Anna E. Healy
March 13, 1930 - June 30, 2009

Anna E. Healy age 79 of Washington passed away at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born March 13, 1930 in Cannelton, Indiana to Elmer and Rosina (Ballow) Horsley. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Legion of Mary, and Daughters of Isabella. She loved doing embroidering, needle point, and cooking for her family and friends. Her true joy was baby setting her grandchildren and for others. She is survived by her husband, James F. Healy, whom she married May 3, 1952; two daughters, Judy Healy of Indianapolis and Sharon Raine of McCordsville, Indiana; one son and daughter in-law, James E. and Debbie Healy of Washington; four grandchildren, Joetta D. Healy and J. Steven Healy both of Washington, John Raine III of Fishers, and Stephenie Raine of McCordsville; and two sisters Mary Parker of Jasper and Dora Huff of Mesa, Az. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Leo Kiesel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with a D of I rosary at 4 p.m. and a wake service at 5 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Online condolences may be made at www.edleemortuary.com.
