"Thanking Gene for the wonderful memories, happy moments, and great laughter and smiles that he shared with my family, Gerry and Aggie's, as Chris and I were growing up. Gene welcomed Rick into the family, and happy moments continued into my adult life. Sending hugs and love to all, Debbie Mangin Stone"

"I will always remember Gene's smile and his "big" heart. Gene came over to our house a lot to play cards with our parents. There was always lots of talking and laughter going on. We loved going out to Aunt Louise's and Uncle Carl's place to visit and play. I am so thankful that our family made it to the Edward/Mangin Reunion in August. We were able yo see Gene and Johnnie. Before leaving, Gene asked me to pray for him, he said he wasn't sure he could get used to having diabetes. He needed the prayers to help him out. RIP Gene Edwards you will be missed, but thankfully, we have lots of memories to remind us of you."
