Robert 'Bob' Stellings age 78 of Washington passed away Friday afternoon at his residence. He was born April 19, 1929 in Daviess County to Ray E. and Elsie M. (Morgan) Stellings. He graduated from Washington High School in 1947, attended Wabash College, and International Barber School. He owned and operated a barber shop in Bloomington, In. and worked for Potash Mine in Carlsbad, N.M. all before retiring in 1993 from Amax Coal Company in Keensburg, Illinois as a Communicator Coordinator. Surviving is his sweetheart of more than 61 years, Dottie (Wonder) Stellings whom he married July 5, 1947; one daughter, Ann Moreland of Washington; two granddaughters, Molly K. Moreland of Washington and Amy J. Newman of Indianapolis; three great grandsons, Jacob Levi and Joshua Levi both of Washington, Scott J. Wilkerson of Princeton; one great granddaughter Cassie N. Clemens of Haubstadt; and one brother and sister in-law, Terry D. and Maureen Stellings of Anchorage, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter Julie Ann Moreland; and one son in-law. Robert R. Moreland. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till the hour of services Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
