Dorothea E. Nalin
November 8, 1934 - March 7, 2008

Dorothea E. 'Dottie' Nalin age 73 of Washington passed away on Friday morning at 3:15 AM at Hillside Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa on November 8, 1934 to Charles A. and Grace (Suckow) Russell. She was a 1952 graduate of Pensacola High School in Pensacola, Florida, a 1953 graduate from School of Laboratory and X-Ray Techniques. She worked at Daviess Community Hospital from 1953 to 1960, from 1060 to 1972 she owned and operated The Medical Laboratory, from 1972 to 1988 she owned and operated the House of Plaques, and then worked for Wal-Mart till she retired in 1999. Surviving are one son Russ Nalin of Washington; her father, Charles A. Russell of Alameda, California; three grandchildren, Jessica Nalin, Leann Nalin, and Eric Nalin all of Washington; two great grandchildren Madalyn Todd, and Lexi Burpo both of Washington; and two brothers, Ken Russell and Ron Russell both of Oakland, California She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Nalin on October 11, 1999, whom she had married on December 10, 1955; and her mother, Grace Russell. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Sugarland Memory Gardens.
