"I heard this sad news from my family and extend my condolences to his mother Becky and brother Nay who, like Bill, were always so kind to me. I appreciate the short visit I had with Becky and Bill a few years ago when I was home for Xmas and, as I return to Montgomery, I wish you love and strength during this holiday season that is sure to be a difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you."
