Beth Martindale wrote on Jan 23, 2008:

"A little over a year ago, I met John Toy for the first time. My life has been blessed having known him even for a short time. He made me feel welcome in his home immediately. Besides having many wonderful times with family and friends, I had the distinct pleasure of spending one sunny afternoon riding on the tractor with him while he raked hay. We talked about farming and such while he made round after round with a smile on his face the whole time. He was in his element for sure. He was a kind, gentle and caring man who loved his God, his family and his life as a farmer. His family is so fortunate to have had a man like John Toy at the head of it. God must have needed another angel to care for his beautiful fields and gardens in heaven."
