Delmar Hyde
January 1, 1934 - April 27, 2014

Delmar Hyde, 80, of Washington, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:15 p.m. at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on January 1, 1934 and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After 30 years, he retired in 1999, at NWSC Crane. He managed Washington Laurel Lanes and spent 48 years with the Washington Little League, where he served as District 13 Little League Administrator. He was a member of the Moose and of The Washington Elk & Eagles. He is survived by his wife Janet (Schutz) Hyde, married on April 22, 1966, two sons and daughters-in-law; Jonathan and Kimberly Hyde of Washington and Terry and Karen Breeden of Palm Coast, FL, grandchildren Christina Henninger, Mike Roach, Tony Baumert, Travis Breeden, Jordan Hyde, Jalen Hyde, Jessica Williams, and Bryce and Taylor Lyford; and one son-in-law Joseph Musgrave of Washington; sisters, Sharon (Ivan) Bauer of Alfordsville, Monica (John) Parsons of Washington, and Carolyn Grubb of Bloomington; brothers, John Hughes, Bobby (Darlene) Hughes, Henry (Debbie) Hughes, and Charlie Hughes, all of Washington. He is preceded in death by daughter Kitrena Richelle Hyde, granddaughter, Veronica Roach, sister, Mary Gibson, brothers Ralph and Cecil Hughes, and his parents Ernest Ray Hyde and Letha Raney. A visitation will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to www.edleemortuary.com
