Paul Deon Overton Jr., age 67, died at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville at 10:20 p.m. on Sunday. He was born in Washington to Velma (Harner) and Paul Deon Overton on June 21, 1947. Paul was a graduate of Washington High School and graduated Sacramento State University. He was employed as a security guard and was a US Marine Veteran, and Vietnam War and Department of Education. He was a member of the Washington VFW. He loved fishing and the great outdoors. Survived by two brothers, Michael (Betty) Overton and Joe (Carolyn) Overton both of Washington; stepsons, Tom (Tonya) DeLeo of Biship, California, Bob (Alisa) DeLeo of Roseville, California, Nancy (Joe) Repelski of Scotts Valley, California and Janet DeLeo of Jackson, California; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife Barbara in 2012. Memorial donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans'' Association. Paul will be cremated. There will be no services. Arrangements were handled through Ed Lee Mortuary.
